January-July China's exports of steel or copper standard fasteners

Abstract: According to customs statistics, in July 2011, the export value of China's steel or copper standard fasteners was 462 million US dollars, an increase of 31.3% year-on-year, an increase of 8.9% from the previous month, and the export volume was 252,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 13.9. %, an increase of 6.0% from the previous month, and the average export price was US$1836/ton, which was a year-on-year increase of 15.3% and a year-on-year increase of 2.7%.

From January to July 2011, the export value of China's standard fasteners for steel or copper was 2.665 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 39.6%. The export volume was 1.504 million tons, an increase of 20.8% from the same period of last year. The average export price was 1771.5 U.S. dollars per ton, Increased by 15.6%. Compared with the same period of 2010, the year-on-year growth rate of China's steel or copper standard fasteners' export growth has dropped by about 5 percentage points, and the year-on-year growth rate of exports has dropped by about 25 percentage points.

In terms of export value, the United States, Russia, and Japan are the major export markets for China's steel or copper standard fasteners. From January to July 2011, China exported 474 million U.S. dollars to the United States, an increase of 38.1% year-on-year, and exported 198 million U.S. dollars to Russia, an increase of 81.7% year-on-year, and exported 172 million U.S. dollars to Japan, a year-on-year increase of 22.3%. From January to July 2011, the United States had a market share of 17.8%, which was basically the same as in the same period of 2010, Russia increased from 5.7% to 7.4%, and Japan decreased from 7.4% to 6.5%. The total export value of the top 10 export markets totaled 1.389 billion U.S. dollars, which accounted for 52.1% of China's total steel or copper standard fastener exports from January to July.
