Recently, Wuhan Huazhong Automatic Control Technology Development Co., Ltd., one of the first batch of machine tool remanufacturing companies, has received good news. While successfully listed in the third batch of remanufacturing product catalog newly released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the company is remanufactured by Harbin Electric Machinery Factory. A heavy-duty general-purpose milling and boring machine has been successfully completed and delivered soon, becoming another successful example of machine tool remanufacturing.

It is reported that this is a British product (ASQUITH 254) manufactured in 1960. After long-term use, it has serious wear, loss of accuracy, low efficiency, and high failure rate, which seriously affects user production. Large equipment such as: bed, slider, column, balance hammer and other re-use value (the four major pieces of good rigidity, a total of more than 87% of the total weight of the machine tool). In order to reduce losses and waste, Harbin Electric Factory commissioned Huazhong Automation to remanufacture it and upgrade it into a brand new modern HF6926 CNC floor-standing milling and boring machine. After re-optimizing the design of the machine, in addition to borrowing ASQUITH 254's original bed, slides, columns, and large counterweights, the rest of the components, CNC systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and functional accessories are all based on user requirements. Upgrade, especially as the main drive mast of the headstock of the boring and milling machine, performs the remanufacturing optimization design and remanufacturing, and the idea of ​​humanity, advancement, safety, and reliability runs through every design step.

This machine is a CNC floor-type milling and boring machine with the largest specification and self-weight in the same type of machine tool. It has the advantages of good rigidity under heavy cutting and stable equipment. After the remanufacturing, the technology is advanced, the structure is mature and reliable, the performance is improved, the function is expanded, the configuration of main parts and key parts is high, the work operation is stable, and the production efficiency is high.
