According to the latest news obtained on October 21, 2015, Ren Jianxin, chairman of China National Chemical Corporation , has formally chaired the board of Pirelli tires, and the new Pirelli board of directors also officially debuted. Marco Tonchetti Provera, former chairman of Pirelli’s board of directors, became the new executive vice chairman of the board of directors and served as CEO of Pirelli tires. After Sinochem bought most of Pirelli’s Russian shareholders through Marco Polo Industrial Holdings, nearly half of Pirelli’s board members submitted their resignations and their board of directors was almost paralyzed.
