Russia, Belarus and Belarus to double used tire tariffs

According to a report by the Interfax news agency in Moscow on August 30, the Customs Union Committees of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan passed a resolution that will impose a 20% tariff on used car tires, but not less than 6.9 euros per article. "Up to 20%, but not less than 20 EUR/each."

The import tariff for new tyres will also be "20% but not less than 20 Euros".

The import duty on used passenger car tyres will be changed from 20% of the current ad valorem duty to "20% but not less than 20 Euros". In addition to the current ad valorem tax of 20% on aircraft tire import duties, a special tariff of 20 euros will be added.

The resolution has been published on the website of the Customs Union and will be implemented 30 days from the date of publication.
