The Guangdong Provincial Government held a press conference in Guangzhou on May 4th to announce that the "Guangdong Marine Economic Map" was formally completed. It is reported that this is China's first marine economic map, and for the first time put forward the concept of "a six-bay Peninsula". The Dahong Bay Area and the Hailing Bay Area in the "Liu Bay District" are respectively positioned as important routes for the Pearl River Delta, the eastern and western parts of Guangdong and Guangdong. The former will focus on building a new energy base in Guangdong, an advanced coastal waterfront manufacturing base, and a marine industrial transfer demonstration area. The latter is building a state-level coastal chemical industrial base.
