Bosch further promotes localization and strives to double Asia Pacific sales by 2020

In the past ten years, the Asia-Pacific region has been crucial to Bosch , a world-leading technology and service provider. Asia-Pacific, as its largest growth area, has more than doubled its sales and reached 11 billion euros in fiscal 2013. .

Terry Lai, member of the Bosch Group Management Board, which is responsible for Asia-Pacific business since July 2013, stated that “by 2020, we will strive to double the sales in the region.” To further localization and achieve the Group’s growth goals Bosch will invest approximately 3.3 billion euros in the region between 2010 and 2014. "In the next few years, we will always maintain a high level of investment in the Asia-Pacific region and further deepen our localization strategy," added Terry.

In the future, Bosch will strengthen the local value chain in all aspects of production , product management , R&D and product supply, and maintain the good factors for Bosch's continuous growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
